How we check the list
We check every casino on the list against public review and complaint databases (Casino Guru and AskGamblers). We note whether it is still operating, which licence it holds and which company runs it. A casino is removed if it has closed, is blacklisted or has a very poor record of handling player complaints. Several casinos on the list belong to the same group, and the operator column shows this.
On 2 October 2026 we removed ten casinos. Raptor, GoSlot, Flaming Casino, West Point and Vasy Casino have closed. Wild Pharao is blacklisted. 18bet, Twin, Whamoo and Casino Win Big have very low trust scores or many unresolved complaints.
What the licences mean
| Licence | Regulator | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| MGA | Malta Gaming Authority (EU) | EU-based regulator with a formal complaints process. |
| UKGC | UK Gambling Commission | One of the strictest regulators. It only covers players in Great Britain. |
| Curaçao | Curaçao Gaming Authority | Offshore licence. Player protection is weaker than in the EU. |
| Kahnawake | Kahnawake Gaming Commission (Canada) | Offshore licence with its own complaints procedure. |
| Anjouan | Anjouan (Comoros) | Offshore licence with limited player protection. |
Play responsibly
Set a deposit limit before you start, and never chase losses. Casinos licensed abroad are not covered by national self-exclusion schemes such as Norway's or Sweden's. If gambling stops being fun, get help. In Norway you can call Hjelpelinjen on 800 800 40.
